We are a South Gloucestershire (UK) based group of friends from various walks of life who have come together to worship Ma Durga. As non-resident Indians, we also believe that auspicious occasions such as Durga Puja provide us with the opportunity to discuss and debate aspects of Indian culture, traditions and values, with our children so that they are mindful of their Indian roots while embracing the best of British values. We believe that the essence of Durga Puja lies in bringing people together to perform Devi’s Aradhana as one family.
